The Good Fight’s charitable mission is to provide at-risk and disadvantaged youth with hope, encouragement, and a safe environment to develop personal goals, discipline, and values free from juvenile delinquency, substance abuse, truancy, crime, gang activities and other difficult challenges.
Our vision is to instill discipline and values among at-risk and disadvantaged youth, to lift them out of poverty, to provide them with training and opportunities, and to motivate them to become productive members of society.
Programs Offered at our Community Center
The following programs and activities are available for boys and girls ages 10-18. Each activity will be split into sections based on age – Section A will be youth 10-15 years old, and Section B will be youth 16-18 years old.
The Elsworth Smith Boxing Gym will provide boxing training which instills discipline, physical activity, fitness, and mental sharpness. This will also provide a safe place to work out aggression. Trainers are registered with USA Boxing.
Getting Ready for College
The Larry Shapiro Education Program will help teens get ready for / into college by helping with college applications, ACT / SAT practice tests, and more.
Employment / Job Prep
The Larry Shapiro Job Program will help teens with advice on employment opportunities such as applications, interview skills, resume writing, and more.

Girls and boys ages 10-18 are welcome to enroll and take advantage of The Good Fight’s programming for only $20 a month – no contracts and no long term commitments.
